The Broad Art Museum

The Broad was such cool experience. For those of you who don’t know The Broad is a contemporary art museum located in downtown Los Angeles. It has free general admission, but does cost extra for special exhibits. One exhibit that I’ve heard is a must see is Yayoi Kusama’s Infinity Mirrored Room. We tried to get tickets to see this but it was sold out an hour after opening, so we weren’t able to. We had an amazing time at The Broad and hope to come back soon 😉 Here are a few pictures of the artwork.

We did see the special event, Cindy Sherman: Imitation of Life.

The texture on this one was really neat.

This is one of my favorites because the art is made entirely out of broken plates and paint.

Hope you enjoyed The Broad as much as I did!
