DIY Picture Letter Block

I know, this DIY is super basic, but it is super cute and I absolutely love how it turned out! This is a great gift or just a pretty thing to put in you room. It’s super easy and not too difficult.

What you will need:

-A wooden letter block. I did a D for Daya.

-Mod Podge ( I used the gloss one to add a smooth and glassy top over the pictures).

-Any colored paint, I used a light blue.

-A foam paint brush.

-water

-a paper/plastic plate to put the paint on

-Pictures, I printed mine out onto normal paper (instead of printer paper) and it worked out just fine. Print out according to how big or small you want your pictures to be. I did mine small so it took longer because I had to print out more pictures to cover the whole letter. I had done another letter for my friends birthday gift, this time using bigger pictures and it looked good as well!

I got all of my stuff from my local craft store.

How to make it:

First I took my wooden letter and lightly coated it with water to get any dust or wood shavings off of it.

Then I painted the entire letter. I had to do a couple coats but it depends on the color you choose. Set to dry.

Once the block dried I organized my pictures onto the front side of the block until I saw how I wanted it to look. Then I used the Mod Podge to stick the photo’s onto the letter.

After that dries I did a couple layers of Mod Podge on top of the pictures so it could have a glossy feel and look.

And there you have it! Hope you liked this DIY as much as I did!

Enjoy, and if you like my posts don’t forget to follow for more! <3

xoxo daya
