L O N D O N ! There’s no way to do it in a day. This being my second time visiting the city we took the somewhat less touristy route. We had breakfast with an insane view and explored different markets and museums. Also, sorry I’ve been gone for so long!! I recently came back from a 3 week trip to Europe and didn’t bring my laptop. But be sure to be on the lookout for tons of new, exciting travel posts!!
This was the Sky Garden building!
The views from the top were incredible. The Shard (the tallest building in London) was very close so it was a great place to snap some cool photos of it. We could also see the London Bridge!
I’d like to have a view like this every breakfast haha.
For anyone spending some time in London I’d definitely recommend visiting the Sky Garden, it’s not your typical tourist spot but it was so incredible.
After the Sky Garden we walked around the area and came across a bunch of cool structures. We were looking for a market and found a HUGE one with just about anything you could imagine. Borough Market was a really cool experience and I would highly recommend browsing here to any hungry travelers. They had such a variety of different cultural foods and amazing desserts; and don’t even get me started on how good it smelled here. I got a vegan burger that was sooo good, and a tropical smoothie!
We walked around Harrods which is the biggest department store in London. It’s really fun to browse through all the different rooms and see $20,000 rugs haha.
While walking around we saw the Victoria and Albert Museum. It’s the worlds largest decorative arts and design museum. It’s free so we didn’t have to wait in any lines (yay!). It was so interesting to learn about ton’s of different cultures and eras, and the architecture in there was amazing!
After a crazy, fun day in London we went to The Harry Potter Studios!!! The 10-year-old me was fangirling so hard. We bought the tickets well in advance and I was so excited! But… you’ll hear more about that in the next post 😉 Hope you guys enjoyed this and I can’t wait to share the rest of my summer travels with you guys!!
Thank you to my amazing cousins for taking me here! I miss you guys <3
